OVERVIEW

Access Card – is an International Calling Card that offers you flexibility in making your international calls! Be it Call Direct (Pin Free and Pin Based) or CLI Callback, you get to enjoy fantastic savings on your international calls! Furthermore, you can also use it to Top-Up prepaid overseas mobile phones!

Call Direct (PIN-Free) – After registering, simply dial a common Singapore-based 8-digit number from your registered phone number. You will be prompted to dial the overseas telephone number (Country Code + Area Code + telephone number + # Key) you wish to call. Access Card rates apply

Call Direct (PIN-Based) – Dial the PIN-Based Access Number from any telephone, payphone or mobile in Singapore. When prompted by the operator, proceed to enter the 12-Digit PIN followed by the overseas telephone number (Country Code + Area Code + telephone number + # Key) you wish to call. Access Card rates apply.

CLI Callback – After registering, simply dial a common Singapore-based 8-digit number from your registered phone number. You will receive a call from the system promptly, requesting you to dial the number you wish to call. Access Callback rates apply.

Top-UP overseas mobile phone – Access Card can now be used to top up prepaid overseas mobile phones from Singapore. Overseas mobile phones from countries like Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Top-Up Overseas Mobile rates apply.

Note: Call Direct (Pin-Free) and CLI Callback does not support phone numbers registered with CALLER NUMBER NON-DISPLAY (CNND) or PRIVATE NUMBER with service providers.

How do I call overseas with Access Card?

You are able to select the most cost-effective way of making overseas calls depending on the type of devices you are using. Just follow the simple steps at the back of the card.

What are the denominations available?

ACCESS Cards are available in stored value of $10.

Where can I purchase Access Cards?

Access Cards are available at most convenience stores and money changers.

Do I get charged for busy, unanswered calls?

Unanswered calls are not charged. However, if the call is answered by a voice mail, fax machine, computer or answering machine, it is considered a connected call and charges apply.

How long can I talk?

Your talk time depends on the value/balance left in your card and the destination you are calling. Note: Rates to overseas fixed line and mobile are different for some destinations. Please refer to our online rates table for more information.

What are the languages available?

The pre-recorded languages to guide you along when you use the Access Card are available in English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil and Japanese.

Can calls be made from a mobile phone?

Yes, calls can be made from a mobile phone; however, normal mobile service “air-time” is still chargeable by your mobile service provider.

Can I register or top-up my phone number with my Access Card which I have already used some of the credits?

Service registration and Top-Up can only be done with a full value (unused) Card.

What if I have problems using the card?

Simply call our customer service at 3109 0088 when you encounter any problems with your Access Card.

Do the rates apply throughout the day?

Yes. Our rates apply 24 hours a day.

Where can I check the calling rates to different countries?

You can call our customer service at 3109 0088 or visit our online rates table for our latest calling rates.

Can the card be used for local calls?

Yes, Access Card can be used to make local calls. Just remember to add country code ’65’.

Is there an expiry date?

Yes, the expiry date is 6 months from registration/top-up. All registration/top-up must be done on/before the expiry date printed at the back of the card.

Can I use this card when I am overseas?

No, Access Card is for use in Singapore only.

How am I charged for my usage?

The charging blocks are as follows:

  • Minimum charge per call is 60 seconds and subsequent block charge is 120 seconds.
  • There will be a surcharge only when dialing 1800 from payphone.

Can I get a replacement for lost / expired card?

It is not possible to replace lost Access Card as we are unable to establish the ownership of the cards after they are sold from the retail outlets.

How do I know the remaining value of my card?

Simply dial 6347 4077 for your account balance. Otherwise, you can dialed 6347 9950 followed by your PIN. The system will announce the remaining value. If you do not wish to make any call, just hang up at this point.

What is surcharge?

Surcharge is normally levied for making 1800-number calls from public phones. (For example: By dialling 1800 883 4011 from public phone.)

  • Surcharge rate varies according to destinations
  • No surcharge for calls from any local fixed line or mobile phone.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • The PIN (Personal Identification Number) printed on each card is unique and the Customer shall be solely responsible for safeguarding it against any unauthorised use.
  • Except when the card is received damaged at the point of sale, the sold is not refundable and WhizComms shall not be liable to the customer for any loss, theft or misuse of the card.
  • The liability of WhizComms to a Customer, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, in relation to the card (PIN) shall be limited to the price of the card.
  • The expiry date is 6 months from registration/top-up. All registration/top-up must be done on/before the expiry date printed at the back of the card.
  • WhizComms does not provide refunds for any unused portion of the card value whether before or after its expiry date, or under any circumstances.
  • WhizComms shall be entitled to add, remove or change any calling destinations and calling rates without prior notice to the Customer. Please refer to our website (https://www.whizcomms.com.sg) or call our Customer Service Hotline 3109 0088 for latest rates update.
  • Customer shall be solely responsible and liable and shall indemnify and keep indemnified WhizComms and/or its agents against all losses and liabilities when using WhizComms services.
  • All correspondences, notices or communications by WhizComms to the Customer will be sent by email only. They shall be deemed to have been received by the Customer immediately upon transmission by WhizComms. Hence it is the onus of the Customer to provide WhizComms with a valid email address.
  • All our card prices are nett over at our website (https://www.whizcomms.com.sg).
  • All card sold are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. We will not entertain any cancellations by the Customer once the order is confirmed by, and paid for by the Customer.
